Behind the minimum decent wage project is an independent and informal platform of experts who have been meeting to discuss the concept and various calculations since 2016.
Subsequently, by using various established methods to determine what the expenses in these categories would be for a normal standard of living, we focused on identifying resources which would help us to quantify how much money would be needed for such a standard. We determined the numbers, along with the procedure and resulting amounts, both in focus groups and amongst a wider circle of experts.
